Pastor Mike is a Bivocational minister. Currently employed by First Congregational and as the Analytics Manager at Lincoln Premium Poultry. A 2008 Fremont High School graduate, Petersen earned his bachelor’s degree with a history major and religion minor from Midland University in 2012 and his master’s degree in business administration with an accounting emphasis from MU in 2014.
Petersen married his wife, Kayla, in 2014. They have a daughter, Amelia, 8, and son, John, 5.
In May 2015, he Joined the Army National Guard with several years active with the US Army.
“I have been very driven my entire life to service,” Petersen said. “I want to serve and help people. I want to make the community a better place and so I joined the Army and I served six years. I was in the National Guard”
Petersen views Ministry as another great way to serve God, The Community, and the Local Church
Jazmine leads Christian Education and youth programs within the church. She loves a good thrift store trip and enjoys spending time with her family and sweet doggo Layla
Nancy is our Church Secretary. She has Faithfully served this congregation since 1999. She can be found in the office writing checks, processing payroll or doing any number of activities for us. Feel free to send calendar requests, or anything else her way.
She also-reduces our In Touch Every Month and does a fantastic job with that.
